Walking on snake’s feet

About

This blog is an irregular record of my encounters with Asian popular culture, primarily music but also video, film, literature, and whatever else crosses my path that strikes me as relevant.

The title is a literal translation of the name of the first album by Japanese punk-pop band Go!Go! 7188, 蛇足歩行 (Dasoku hokō). The phrase is a reference to the description of doing something completely unnecessary as being similar to adding feet to a snake. So, less literally, 蛇足歩行 means “walking aimlessly.”
